Ghost Mine Episode 3

Mystery at Ghost Mine an Ace Detectives Mystery Adventure

Victorville, California

Megan - Ace Detective

"In about 1885 Victorville was called “Victor”, after Jacob Nash Victor. He was a construction superintendent for the California Southern Railroad. The town started because they built a station, and then a railway depot. And there was good water and agricultural land – even though it was the edge of the desert."

Ben - Ace Detective

"Cement manufacturing is now the biggest industry in the Victor Valley. Oh – and there’s a Route 66 Museum here. Like to see that, Brad?"

Brad - Ace Detective

"Yeah – but some other time guys. We’re headed into the Mojave now."
