"Hi Laura, how’s things? Did you get my email with what we’ve found so far?"

"Hi Megs. Yes, thanks. Tell the guys, good work!"

"We’re ready to pick up the trail over there – could we stay at your place for a while please?"

"Sure thing! It’d be great to have you. Have you booked a flight?"

"Yes – we’ll arrive in LA on Saturday the 18th at 2.30 pm, your time."

"Great. Could Brad drive you from the airport? Mom will be busy with the restoration work at the old town. And she doesn’t like me driving to LA on my own. I’ll get mom to book a hire car for you."

"Great. Brad will love driving through the desert."

"I’ll email directions to you and we’ll ask for a GPS unit with the car. Its tricky finding the right freeway coming from the airport."

"Thanks – and thank Aunt Jean for letting us stay, and for the car."

"No problem, she’ll be thrilled to see you all again. It ages since we were in Australia."

"We’re looking forward to seeing you."

"Me too. See you next Saturday."
